Tenenbaum loses to the tune of $675,000

I hear reports that the Sony v Tenenbaum jury has awarded damages of $675,000 ($22,500 per song).

Update: Here's Ars Technica's take on it.

Update 2: Ray Beckerman doesn't think any of the key p2p copyright infringement litigation issues have been addressed in the case. Marc Bourgeois has been blogging about the proceedings at Beckerman's blog this week.

Update 3: More reactions from the usual suspects.
