Remember the case of the Russian primary school head teacher who was pursued by a prosecutor for pirating Microsoft software, even after the case was originally thrown out of court? Well the stubborn prosecutor has now succeeded in the re-trial. The head has been found guilty of using bootleg software, causing Microsoft $10,000 worht of damage and has been fined teh equivalent of about $200 (more than half a month's wages). An appeal is planned.
