Melancoly Elephants

I hadn't appreciated that Melancoly Elephants was 25 years old. So Spider Robinson had penned this Hugo award winning (in 1983!) story about the destructive potential of perptual copyright long before the current chaotic IP wars were a twinkle in the eye of the RIAA or MPAA, as Robinson says hiomself — a year before the first TCP/IP wide area network in the world went operational — two years before the first Macintosh went on sale!
