I always seem to come away from reading Noam Chomsky's ideas with deep concerns about the world we live in and that which our children are inheriting.
This essay in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 tragedies, invokes just those feelings. The mere mention of Chomsky causes some people to foam at the mouth, but even when I can't accept his theses, reading them is enlightening if also anxiety and depression inducing!
